Avant Homes has proudly been named one of the top UK housebuilders for customer satisfaction, after being awarded five-star status by the Home Builders Federation (HBF).
The award is based on homeowner feedback in the 2021 National New Homes Survey and achieving a five-star rating means more than 90 per cent of homebuyers would recommend Avant Homes to friends and family.
The annual survey, which is carried out by the National Home Building Council (NHBC), is completed by homeowners once they have moved into their new home and asks them to score developers on a range of factors including, construction quality, internal design and the overall service provided.
The results give homebuyers a quality guide and ensure the maintaining of high standards in all aspects of the building and marketing of new homes.

The National New Homes Survey is one of the most comprehensive, large-scale surveys of its type carried out in the UK. Since its launch, well over half a million survey returns have been received making it one of the most comprehensive continuous industry research exercises in the country.
This year 76,300 surveys were sent out UK-wide with a 62 per cent response rate. The results cover the 12-month period from October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2020 and overall show a fourth successive year of improved customer satisfaction. Of the customers that responded 91 per cent said they would ‘recommend their builder to a friend’, the highest since the survey began in 2006.
HBF’s executive chairman, Stewart Baseley, said: “The survey demonstrates that the industry is delivering an excellent level of service in the opinion of over 90% of its customers. That this level of satisfaction has been delivered during a pandemic that saw sites closed and builders unable to access homes for a period makes it even more of an achievement.”
