Key workers do phenomenal work and are essential to the functioning of our society and communities. We want to say thanks to key workers by making buying a home even more affordable for them with our key worker contribution*.
What does the key worker contribution include?
On selected plots and developments, key workers who buy an Avant home will receive a cash contribution of up to £12,000!
Are you, and your new home, eligible for the key worker contribution?
Eligible key workers will receive £500 back for every £25,000 spent on their home. For example, a home costing £226,000 would qualify for a contribution of £4,500.
The Key Worker eligibility criteria requires that, the purchaser is employed by any one of the following institutions or performs the following job role at the point when its reservation is confirmed (including any Scottish equivalent):
- NHS
- Police force
- State education sector
- Fire service

Regular UK Armed Forces Personnel who have completed their basic (phase 1) training and who are one of the following:
- Regular service personnel including Military Provost Guard Service, in the Navy, Air Force and Army
- Clinician staff (excluding doctors and dentists)
- Uniformed staff in the Defence Fire Service
- Ex-Regular military service personnel, who have served in the armed forces for more than 5 years and left their role no more than 12 months prior to reservation, with a valid discharge card
- The surviving partner of Regular UK Armed Forces personnel who have died in service, provided they reserve within 12 months of their bereavement and provide appropriate proof of their eligibility
