Bramcote has a number of schools local to it, these include primary schools like the Bramcote Hills Primary School (situated only a 10 minute walk from our development) and the Bramcote CofE Primary School (which is less than a 10 minute drive from our development.

In terms of secondary schools, there are places like the Alderman White School, the Foxwood Academy, Bramcote College and its sixth form college – all of which achieved a rating of Good at their most recent Ofsted inspections.     

The popular local nursery – The Bramcote Village Nursery – is also within walking distance of Emmanuel Grange, being just a 20 minute walk (or a six minute drive) from our new development.

Local transport in Bramcote

There are several bus operators that operate out of Bramcote, namely Nottingham City Transport, Trentbarton and Nottingham Community Transport. 

Routes they provide include services to the likes of Beeston, Derby, Ilkeston, Nottingham, Rylands, Stapleford, and Wollaton. 

Beeston Railway station is also just a 15 minute drive from our new development and offers services to London St Pancras, getting commuters to the capital in under two hours. 

Other services include trains to Bedford, Birmingham New Street, Cardiff, Crewe, Derby, Leicester, Loughborough, and Nottingham.

Living in Bramcote

A small suburban village just outside of Beeston, what makes Bramcote such a lovely place to live in is all of its parks and open spaces, as well as its beautiful architecture – with some of its manor houses, like the Bramcote Manor house, dating back to the Elizabethan period. 

The village also has a number of public amenities, like swimming pools and tennis courts, and enjoys a commuter-friendly location – situated only a short drive away from the city of Beeston.

Bramcote park walks

There’s lots of green open spaces in Bramcote, with parks like Bramcote Park offering a number of easy access paths so anyone can enjoy a relaxing stroll.

Bramcote Park also features a playground and a car park, making it an easy option for a family day out.  

Other parks include the Bramcote Ride Open Space – a Grade II-listed 29 acre nature reserve featuring mature woodland and naturally regenerating scrub. 

Then, for a truly dramatic view, King George’s Park has a slope that, if you hike up it, offers stunning views of the village. 

Apart from that, King George’s Park also has two free-to-use tennis courts, a children’s play area and a car park.

The Bramcote Leisure Centre

Bramcote has its very own leisure centre which includes a 25m swimming pool, a family splash pool, a teaching pool, a gym, a junior gym, a health suite, a five-a-side pitch, and a creche.
