Avant Homes supports Great Eccleston school's playground project

Avant Homes has donated £1,000 to St. Anne’s Copp Church of England Primary School in Great Eccleston to support its playground project.
The
donation will help extend the school’s existing playground into the surrounding
forest area, creating more space for the pupils to enjoy.
Located
on Copp Lane, St. Anne’s Copp CE Primary School is close to Avant Homes’
£32m, 115-home Oakview
Quarter development.
The
school recently completed the first phase of its five-year playground project,
which provides pupils with a multi-use games area and equipment, such as a
cardio combo and pedal exercise bikes.
Avant
Homes’ donation is part of the second phase of the project, which will see the
playground extended to create a larger play area.
The
playground project is being led by the Friends of St. Anne’s Copp CE Primary
School (FOCS), a charity which supports fundraising for the school.
Vicky
Maclean, chair at FOCS, said: “We are extremely grateful for the donation from
Avant Homes.
“FOCS’
primary focus over the past five years has been improving the outdoor space for
the children.
“We
aim to raise the remaining £10,500 to extend the playground and implement this
larger-scale project, delivering facilities that will generate a positive
impact on the children’s emotional, social, physical, and mental growth for
many years to come.”
Located
off Copp Lane, Oakview Quarter comprises a selection of one-, two-, three- and
four-bedroom homes and features 14 of Avant Homes’ house types.
