The M90 is just minutes away, offering quick road access north to Perth and south to Edinburgh, with the capital reachable in under 40 minutes by car. The nearby A985 also connects you easily to Dunfermline, Kincardine, and the wider Fife region.

Rosyth Railway Station is just a 4-minute drive or a 20-minute walk from the development, with regular train services running to Edinburgh Waverley. This takes around 35 minutes, making it ideal for anyone needing to get into the city.

For bus travel, local services run frequently through Rosyth, connecting you to neighbouring towns like Inverkeithing via the 7A bus. You can catch this service from the Primrose Avenue Turning Circle stop, which is less than a 10-minute walk from Stewart’s Quarter.

And if you fancy a trip abroad, Edinburgh Airport is under 30 minutes away by car and offers flights to fantastic locations all over the world, making both business trips and family holidays easy and stress-free.

Things to do around Rosyth

Fife is widely recognised as the home of modern golf, with iconic courses throughout the region – including the world’s oldest golf club, The Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews. Because of this, there are plenty of courses close to our new build homes in Rosyth, including Pitreavie Golf Club, just a 5-minute drive away.

History lovers should visit nearby Rosyth Castle and the iconic Forth Bridges, which offer stunning views and great photo opportunities. For outdoor adventures, head to Pittencrieff Park in Dunfermline – just 10 minutes away by car – where you’ll find beautiful gardens, play areas, and even resident peacocks!

You’ll also be spoiled for choice when it comes to dining out, with plenty of restaurants in Rosyth, including Taste of India and Bella e Buona. The popular Kingsgate Shopping Centre in Dunfermline is also a quick drive away, where you can shop until you drop 7 days a week.

Plus, everyday essentials are right on your doorstep, with a Sainsbury’s Local a few minutes away and a Tesco Superstore nearby for your bigger weekly shops.

Schools in Rosyth

For parents with young children, there are several primary schools in Rosyth to choose from. King’s Road Primary School for ages 3 to 12 is the closest, less than a 10-minute walk from our Stewart’s Quarter development. St John’s Primary School is also less than a mile away and caters for children aged 3 to 12.

Camdean Primary School and Limekilns Primary School are also good nearby options and even offer a nursery for younger children under 5.

Other nurseries close to our new homes in Rosyth include Treetops Family Nurture Centre, a 14-minute walk away, and Building Blocks Childcare Nursery, reachable in under 5 minutes by car.

For older children, a brand new, state-of-the-art secondary school is set to open in Rosyth in 2026. Caledonia High School will be located a stone’s throw from our development and will accommodate 1735 pupils. Until then, however, Inverkeithing High School is less than 3 miles away.

There’s also Fife College’s Rosyth Campus just a 5-minute drive from Stewart’s Quarter, which offers higher education courses in both STEM and the arts.
