Stirling-based Avant Homes West Scotland has announced the appointment of a new regional sales manager as part of the operating company’s ongoing expansion plans.

Linda Rennie has been promoted to her new role following more than 11 successful years as sales advisor for the housebuilder.

She joined Avant Homes in late 2011 and served as the sales advisor for several of the region’s developments in Scotland.

In her new role, Linda is responsible for overseeing sales at Avant West Scotland’s five live developments which range from Draffen Park in Stewarton to Darach Fields in Robroyston.

Commenting on her promotion, Linda said: “I’m very happy to be taking on this new challenge within the company in what is set to be an exciting time for Avant Homes West Scotland.

“We are expanding into new areas of the country and our sales team is fully focused on helping prospective customers become owners of our energy efficient new homes located in popular places.”

Avant Homes West Scotland is part of the Avant Homes Group, whose house types are ideal for the private, rented and affordable sectors, which operates across Scotland, the north of England and the Midlands from nine regional operating businesses.

Avant Homes West Scotland managing director, Jim Wilkinson, added: “Linda’s promotion to regional sales manager is fully deserved and we know she is relishing the new challenge.

“Having been at Avant for more than a decade, she knows the business inside out and we couldn’t think of anyone better to oversee all sales across our Scotland West region.”
