Avant Homes submits plans for £11.6m, 51-home development in Nafferton, near Driffield

Avant Homes has submitted plans to deliver a £11.6m, 51 new home development in Nafferton, near Driffield.
Called Wolds Edge and located off Markham Lane, the development will comprise a mix of one-, two, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes.
The proposed development on the 4.6-acre site will feature 11 of Avant Homes’ practically designed house types.
All homes will be energy efficient, typically achieving an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) rating of B or above.
If given the go ahead by East Riding of Yorkshire Council, work at Wolds Edge is expected to commence early next year. Avant Homes anticipates the first residents would move into their new homes in the late summer 2027.
Subject to planning being granted, the development will be delivered by Avant Homes North Yorkshire. The operating company’s managing director, Richard Hosie said: “We are very pleased to have submitted plans for our proposed new development in Nafferton.
“The site presents an exciting opportunity to bring our range of practically designed, energy-efficient new homes to the area, as well as grow our geographical footprint across the East Riding and wider Yorkshire region.
