Avant Homes Scotland has released the first homes for sale at its £87m, 312-home Edmonstone Village development in Edinburgh.
The new development is located off Old Dalkeith Road and will comprise a mix of two-, three-, four- and five-bedroom homes and feature 12 of Avant Homes’ house styles.
Prices for the first homes being released for sale start from £269,995 for a two-bedroom semi-detached Balfron house style.
The largest of the house styles to be released for sale is the five-bedroom detached Stirling, priced at £484,995
Work at Edmonstone Village is well underway, with first residents expected to move into their new homes this summer.
One of the most popular homes, the five-bedroom detached Rothesay, will be available this summer and prospective buyers can view the new showhome due to open on April 25.
The Rothesay is a great example of Avant Homes’ ability to deliver practically designed, energy-efficient homes that suit the needs of modern living.
On the Rothesay ground floor, the entrance hallway leads to a large open-plan kitchen/dining area and living space, with two sets of French doors opening directly to the rear garden. Downstairs is completed by a separate generously sized lounge, guest WC and a useful storage area.
On the first floor, there is a spacious main bedroom with en-suite, whilst two double and two single bedrooms are served by a family bathroom. The Rothesay also benefits from an integral garage.
All of the homes at Edmonstone Village will be powered by a district heating system, operated by Vital Energi. Properties will receive their heating and hot water from a central energy centre via a network of insulated district heating pipes, removing the need for individual gas boilers in every home.
The low carbon system is designed to reduce carbon dioxide emissions and deliver heat more efficiently, helping residents lower their environmental impact without compromising on comfort.
