Housebuilder Avant Homes West Yorkshire has launched the first homes for sale at its £20m, 83-home development in Altofts, near Normanton
Called Altofts Acres and located off St David’s Way, the development will comprises a mix of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom homes and feature 11 of Avant Homes’ practically designed, energy-efficient house types.
Prices for the new homes start from £194,995 for a ‘one-bedroom plus’ terraced Denbrough house type, so called as it has an additional upstairs room offering flexibility as a live/work area.
The largest of the house types to be released for sale is the four-bedroom detached Horbury, priced at £379,995.
Work at Altofts Acres is well underway with first residents expected to move into their new homes this month. A show home at the development is scheduled to open in March.
Of the new homes released, the Horbury is a strong example of Avant Homes’ ability to deliver practically designed, energy-efficient homes that suit the needs of modern living.
On the ground floor, the Horbury features a large living room and WC, as well as a flexible snug which can be used as a music room, study or playroom.
At the rear of the property, there is a large open plan kitchen and a family dining space with French doors leading to the rear garden. There is also a utility room which has an outside door and a large storage cupboard.
On the first floor, the main bedroom is served by an en-suite shower room, with a large double bedroom and two single bedrooms sharing the use of a family bathroom. The generous landing space also features an additional storage cupboard. The Horbury benefits from a detached garage.
