Avant Homes releases first homes for sale at £20m, 79-home development in Burbage

Avant Homes has released the first homes for sale at its £20m, 79-home development in Burbage, near Hinckley.
Called Chestnut Acres and located off Lychgate Lane, the development comprises a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom homes.
Prices for the first releases start at £280,000 for a ‘two-bedroom plus’ semi-detached Eastbeck house type, so called as it has an additional upstairs room offering flexibility as a live/work area.
The largest of the properties that have been made available is a ‘three-bedroom plus’ three-storey semi-detached Salbury priced £370,000 which, like the Eastbeck, also features an additional flexible room upstairs.
Selected homes at the development are also available on the First Homes scheme, aimed to make homeownership affordable and accessible to first time buyers. Prices for homes on the scheme start from £178,500 for a ‘one-bedroom plus’ terrace Askham house type.
Work at Chestnut Acres is well underway, with first residents expected to move into their new homes in the early spring.
One of the first homes released for sale, the Salbury is an excellent example of Avant Homes’ ability to deliver practically designed, energy efficient homes for modern living.
The ground floor of the Salbury features a large lounge, a downstairs WC, a storage cupboard and an open-plan kitchen and dining room with French doors leading to the rear garden.

The Salbury’s main bedroom, complete with an en-suite, is on the second floor, as well as an extra-large storage space.
