Housebuilder Avant Homes has opened a new four-bedroom showhome and four-bedroom view home at its £42m, 179-home Smithy Wood Gate development in Dodworth, near Barnsley
Located off Calver Lane, the development comprises a mix of one-, two-, three- and four-bedroom homes and features 11 of Avant Homes’ practically designed, energy efficient house types.
Prices at the development range from £279,995 for the three-bedroom detached Maltby house type to £409,995 for the four-bedroom detached Cookbury.
Selected plots at Smithy Wood Gate are available with a range of incentives, including part exchange and five per cent deposit contribution.
Interested buyers can now visit the new four-bedroom detached Wentbridge showhome and the four-bedroom detached Horbury view home to experience Avant Homes’ practically designed, energy efficient homes first hand.
On the ground floor, both the Wentbridge and the Horbury have a large living room and a hallway leading to an open-plan kitchen and dining area with French doors opening into the rear garden.
The Horbury also features an additional snug room at the front of the home, which is ideal to use as a study or playroom.
The downstairs in both house types are completed by a WC, a useful storage cupboard and a dedicated utility room. The Wentbridge also benefits from an internal garage.
Upstairs, both homes have large main bedrooms served by an en-suite shower room. A further double bedroom and two single bedrooms share the use of a family bathroom and there is an additional storage cupboard on the landing.
Avant Homes West Yorkshire sales and marketing director, Hannah Orgille, said: “Our new showhome and view home at Smithy Wood Gate give prospective buyers the ideal opportunity to see what life could be like living as part of the vibrant community we are creating in Dodworth.
“Dodworth is a fantastic place to call home, with its links to Sheffield and Leeds, as well as being a stone’s throw away from the natural beauty of the nearby Peak District.
“With the Horbury and Wentbridge now open, prospective buyers should visit our development to experience them first hand and speak with our sales team about moving to Smithy Wood Gate.”
