Avant Homes announce new sponsorship deal with Rothwell Town U12s football team

Avant Homes North Yorkshire has become this season’s sponsor for Rothwell Town Under 12s Blues football team.
The housebuilder will be the front-of-shirt kit sponsor for the 2023/24 season for the team, which plays in the Garforth Junior Football League.
Based at West Riding County Football Association, the team’s training pitch is close to Avant Homes’ Strawberry Fields development which is located in nearby Carlton.
Established more than 25 years ago, Rothwell Town AFC is a grassroots football club which provides a safe, structured football environment for children of all ages. The club is run by parent volunteers who have obtained FA qualifications.
Commenting on the deal, Rothwell Town AFC under 12’s Blues manager Emma Turner said: “Towards the end of our last season, our players were outgrowing their football kits and the sponsorship from Avant Homes has enabled the club to purchase much-needed replacements.
“Without the sponsorship, parents would have had to fund the cost of the kits themselves, which would have placed an additional financial burden on our families, particularly given the current cost of living crisis.”
“A number of our players attended Carlton Primary School near to Strawberry Fields development, so it’s fantastic Avant Homes has provided this support to both our team and the local community. We are extremely grateful for their sponsorship.”
Located on Main Street close to Swithens Farm and Oulton Hall, Strawberry Fields is a development of 129 homes which comprises a mix of two, three four and five-bedroom properties.
Avant Homes North Yorkshire sales and marketing director, Dan Hardcastle also commented saying: “As a business, we are always looking for ways to help the local communities in the areas around our developments. Sponsoring Rothwell Town has provided a great opportunity for us to do so.
“The club provides a platform for children of all ages to participate in playing football and it’s a privilege to be able to support its Under 12s Blues team. We wish the team the best of luck for the current season.”
Prices at Strawberry Fields range from £279,995 for a two-bedroom property to £589,995 for a five-bedroom detached home.
