Driving to Telford from the south, there are a few different routes you can take, either via the M4, M40, M25 or M1. If you are travelling from the north you can get to Telford via the A19 or the A1(M).

You can also reach Telford via train; from London it takes roughly 2.5 hours and from Newcastle it takes just over 5 hours. National Express has a daily bus that travels to Telford, taking around 4 hours and 15 minutes from London.
