With the A650 around 1 mile away from our new homes in Bradford, the city centre can be reached in around 20 minutes, making any commuting or shopping trips very convenient.

Leeds is also accessible by car in 45 minutes or so thanks to the Pudsey Ring Road, which starts from the east side of Bradford.

The nearest train station is in Crossflatts and can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. From there, you can hop onto very regular services to Leeds, Bradford and Skipton.

The nearest bus stop is just around the corner from our development and serves the 60 and 60A routes, which run every 15 minutes between Keighley and Leeds through Shipley.

Leeds Bradford Airport is also a quick 25-minute drive from Five Rise Quarter, where you can catch direct flights to most countries in Europe, as well as a few beyond, such as Morocco.

Things to do around Bingley

Fans of the great outdoors will want to explore every part of Ilkley Moor, less than 5 miles away from our development, via its many Heritage walks and trails.

Any golfers will be glad to know that the 9-hole East Morton Golf Club is a 5-minute drive away, while the 18-hole Bingley St Ives Golf Club is 8 minutes away by car in the opposite direction.

Foodies will want to head to The Brown Cow (4-minute drive away), which offers pub classics, as well as homemade pies, while The Old White Horse Brasserie serves steaks, cheese fondues and more. For more exotic tastes, Sizzling Lounge provides Indian, Bangladeshi and Myanmar cuisines.

Bingley is home to a Tesco Express, an M&S Simply Food, ALDI and Lidl superstores for your weekly food shops. As for retail therapy, head either to Keighley’s Airedale Shopping Centre or The Broadway in Bradford, with its cinema and many restaurants.

Schools in Bingley

With multiple primary and secondary schools in Bingley and surrounding area, Five Rise Quarter is a great location for young families wanting to settle down in West Yorkshire.

Crossflatts Primary School is around 1 mile from the development, catering to children between the ages of 3-11. A bit further afield, Beckfoot Priestthorpe Primary School (ages 3-11) and St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School (ages 4-11) are two other options less than 2 miles away.

Bingley Grammar School is less than a 10-minute walk from Five Rise Quarter and offers secondary education for children between the ages of 11-18. There is also Beckfoot School (ages 11-18) a 7-minute drive away on the other side of town and Hazelbeck School next door for pupils with special educational needs aged 11-19.

For the little ones, Crossflatts Primary School and Beckfoot Priestthorpe Primary School both offer nursery services, while Wishing Tree Nursery and Pre-School (ages 0-4) is a 2-minute drive from our development.
