Architectural Manager - Yorkshire

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Architectural Manager to join our team based at our Yorkshire regional head office in Wakefield. 

The role will form an integral part of the wider regional Technical team with the main purpose of the role focusing on the implementation, support and management of all architectural matters.

To be considered for this vacancy, you must currently be employed as an Architectural Manager or Senior Architect with full working experience within the housebuilding industry with direct team management within your previous roles.

Experience of feasibility planning and lay out schemes would be advantageous.

Key duties and requirements

  • To manage the architectural function ensuring the effective compliance, control and deployment of all Architects.
  • Working experience of layout design, production, assessment and value engineering to ensure placemaking and efficient design is achieved on in house and external designs.
  • Managing the working partnerships with Housing Associations, third party providers and sub-contractors.
  • Engaging fully in the process of determining, agreeing and delivering site start programmes and development programmes within agreed timescales.
  • Managing technical and regulatory approvals and adoptions and provide key status reports and updates on all KPIs relating to the technical function.
  • Actively managing communications and operational interfaces with internal and external stakeholders to achieve the Regional business plan.
  • Assisting in the delivery of effective and relevant legal documentation for each development or phase of development.
