Salary £17,250 - £19,250 dependent on location + mileage + 33 days holiday + private health insurance + paid accommodation* once qualified OTE of £45,000pa

The salary for our Trainee Sales Advisors starts from £17,250 - £19,250 (dependent on location) and once qualified, with commission and bonuses your earning potential can increase to in excess of £45,000pa.

So, what is our Trainee Sales Academy?

Our Trainee Sales Academy provides the opportunity for talented people to use their existing customer service or sales-based transferable skills to kick start a whole new career selling our outstanding new homes. During your time as a trainee, you will acquire the knowledge and skills you need to be a successful Sales Advisor with Avant Homes. 

This is an exciting opportunity for a customer service and sales focused individual to join a fast paced sales environment. Our Sales Advisors don’t just sell homes, they are responsible for overseeing our customer’s journey from their very first contact with us right through to legal completion of the sale. The quality of our homes and the customer’s experience of buying are of paramount important to us. As our Avant Trainee Sales Advisor, you will take a leading role in delivering excellence in both.

The Trainee Sales Academy is a 6-month training and development programme held on a Wednesday and Thursday each week, which will provide our new to industry Trainee Sales Advisors with the skills and knowledge of how to sell our outstanding product. On the remaining 3 days, you will put your learning into practice on site at our developments alongside your mentors, our Avant Sales Coaches. 

As this is a mobile role, if successful you will be based at any of our developments across your selected region so a full UK driving licence and own vehicle is essential.

Key duties and requirements

  • Providing professional on-site new homes sales advice
  • Managing and coordinating all on-site sales for Avant Homes
  • Maintaining an accurate knowledge of the progress of each plot on your development, updating customers on a weekly basis on progress
  • Working with the Site Manager and Area/Field Sales Manager to ensure the development’s show home, plot build completions, standing stock, landscaping and “street scene” meet the quality and presentation standards required

Who are we looking for?

As well as being able to demonstrate a key focus on customer service and experience, you will also be able to evidence experience of working within a targeted sales environment previously.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience of face to face sales and have the ability to provide a first-class customer service experience.

Please note, this position is a full-time role working 5 days out of 7 including 3 out of 4 weekends however we are now able to offer all Trainee Sales Advisors 1 weekend off per month.
