Regional Sales Advisor – Sunderland

We are currently recruiting for a Regional Sales Advisor to join our regional Sales team based within our North East head office in Sunderland.

Following the Avant ethos of Good.Better.Different our new model now enables our Regional Sales Advisors to be based from our newly created ‘Sales Hub’ which is located in our Sunderland head office.

As our Regional Sales Advisor, you will be required to focus on proactively seeking out prospective sales, pre-qualifying customers and delivering virtual tours for all prospective customers all of which is now carried out from our fantastic new ‘Sales Hub’

Once each customer has been qualified, you will then be required to arrange an appointment which will be held at the development marketing suite.

Use of a company pool car is also available as part of this role.

To be successful as our Regional Sales Advisor you will possess extensive experience in new homes Sales, with extensive product knowledge and a retail-based approach to effective development and product demonstrations.

You will also be able to demonstrate delivering an exceptional customer service and achieving ambitious sales targets and KPIs.

Key duties and requirements

You will also be required to;

  • Arrange and travel to meet customers on any Avant regional development on an appointment only basis ensuring customers receive active support in accordance with customer experience guidance and Avant way of working.
  • Utilise all customer experience and on-line marketing technology available within the business, together with fully furnished show homes and marketing collateral and customer incentives to ensure individual and regional development sales performances are delivered in line with the weekly regional revenue targets.
  • Pro-actively offer and sell all types of customer extras as offered by the business.
  • Deploy as appropriate all Avant Homes customer purchase assistance schemes and customer incentives offered across all developments.
  • In all cases actively manage and follow the sales reservation and administration process.
  • Record all sales and service activities and customer/third-party contact information on Avant customer relationship management systems.
  • Demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of mortgage and legal conveyancing processes of the customer purchase journey providing early advice and guidance up to the point of reservation.
  • Proactively work as a member of the regional sales team demonstrating effective team working skills with others and actively participating in regular operational and competitor reviews and sales hub meetings.
  • Undertake HQI inspections as required with the on-site build team, together with demonstration and completion handover duties.
  • Demonstrably support the Avant Homes continuous drive to deliver 5* customer service by championing the customer journey and actively supporting the regional sales hub.

Who are we looking for?

Our ideal Regional Sales Advisor will convey a positive attitude along with the ability to deliver an effective contribution to the region’s budget/forecast sales volumes and revenues.

Communication and a competitive spirit are key to the success within this role. You must also be able to collaborate effectively within the sales team hub and key stakeholders throughout the business.

Previous experience of optimising enquiry conversion rates and delivering against all activity targets are crucial requirements for this role.

To be considered for this role you must also possess;

  • A relevant qualification or extensive experience in Sales
  • Extensive product knowledge and a retail-based approach to effective development and product demonstrations
  • A working understanding of the financial implications of the methods and sequences of build
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills within an on-line context as well as face-to-face setting
  • Excellent sales and service communication, product, and service presentation skills
  • Proven record of accomplishment of delivering against sales targets and customer experience KPIs and high enquiry to reservation conversion rates
  • Excellent knowledge of the region’s property market and competitor activity
  • Proficient use of IT and database management skills, including the effective use of CRM systems
  • Good awareness of codes of practice that affect sales and marketing matters e.g. Code of Conduct, CML, PMA etc
  • Basic knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellence knowledge of the HTB scheme, or other Government purchase schemes
