At Avant, we’re proud to have a stunning range of options and extras, allowing you to personalise your home to your heart’s content, creating a space that truly reflects your unique style and taste.

Customising your new Avant home is an exciting process that makes buying a home even more special. Depending on the build stage, you can choose from a beautiful selection of kitchen and bathroom upgrades, flooring, wall tiles, garden features, ward-robes, and everything in between, all carefully selected from trusted manufacturers.

From interior design features to sleek appliance upgrades and storage solutions, this is your opportunity to create a space that meets your needs, provides comfort and truly feels like home.

Choosing your options and extras

After reserving your home, you will be invited to what we call a “choices meeting” with your Sales Advisor. During this meeting, you’ll look at samples of tiles, cupboard doors, worktops, flooring and more, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the options and upgrades available and make your selection.

You will also be given a copy of our options brochure to browse at your leisure.

Following that, you’ll be invited back for an in-depth meeting where you’ll officially choose your options and upgrades and sign on the dotted line. Once this is done, your options will be built into your home during its construction, ready for you to see when you attend your Home Demonstration!

If you’ve not yet exchanged contracts, we’ll ask you to pay a 50% deposit towards the options at your meeting. If you have exchanged contracts, your options will be paid for on completion.

Never worry, as your Sales Advisor will guide you through this process and provide you with as much or as little interior inspiration as you like.

Kitchen

Often referred to as the heart of the home, the kitchen is a place where family and friends come together to cook, eat and socialise. You can personalise your Avant kitchen by choosing cupboard doors and worktops. True foodies can also choose to upgrade their appliances, cooker hood and hob to help them makes the best dishes with ease.
As standard, you will get to choose from a selection of matt finish and coloured kitchen cupboards. However, if you want to upgrade, you can choose from a wider selection!

For example, we also offer both gloss and shaker kitchen upgrades. The gloss finish provides a sleek, modern look, and adds a touch of sophistication that makes your kitchen appear brighter and more spacious. As for the shaker upgrade, this provides a simple and timeless design, giving a beautiful, traditional farmhouse look to your cooking space.

Our worktop upgrades allow you to choose from stunning worktops, each proven to be non-porous, extremely durable and highly resistant to scratches.

And if that wasn’t enough, you can also choose to change your sinks, taps and splash-backs, as well as select from one of our six different appliance packages, each providing different benefits.

Bathroom and Plumbing

We also offer several upgrades in our bathrooms, meaning you can add the finishing touches you want to your sanitaryware, shower and taps, as well as the tiling.

You will have the opportunity to choose from one of our different electric shower options, with some coming with dual or singular heads, while others give you a choice of different finishes and limescale buildup reducing technology.

You can also choose from various sizes of towel warmers in different colours, giving you the option to match it with our range of tile options.

Tiling

Whether it’s adding additional tiles to your bathroom, half-height tiling in your downstairs cloakroom or full-height tiling in your ensuite, we have plenty of options for you.

You can choose tiles from either our standard or enhanced ranges, allowing you to make a statement in your home décor, with our enhanced tile range coming with brushed aluminium tile trims to create a chic look.

However, we must point out that tiling options are subject to house type and availability, so always speak to your Sales Advisor for more information.

Bedroom

Your bedroom is just as, if not more important than the other rooms in your house, as it’s where you get your beauty sleep and store very important everyday items, such as clothes and accessories.

That’s why we want to ensure you have the best storage space available in your bedroom, giving you the option to add beautiful, fitted wardrobes to provide both style and practicality.

Choose from either of our shaker or classic door finishes, each available in 2, 3 or 4 door options depending on the space available in your room.

Flooring

Finish your home with our range of high-quality flooring options. Choose from a range of carpets, vinyl, laminate and LVT, meaning we’ve always got the perfect flooring op-tion for you.

For example, we have several different carpet colours and grades to choose from, with a variety of pile, materials, backing and density to choose from, all depending on where in the house you want to put them. Remember that some types are more hardwearing and are ideal for high footfall areas like stairs and hallways.

For any other type of flooring, speak to your Sales Advisor about the right options for your home.

We also recommend adding an entrance matwell to your front door to create practical and smart arrival into your home.

Electrical

Set the mood with elegant lighting and electrical upgrades throughout your home.

One example is our Low Energy LED downlighters that are more efficient than other light sources because they use less energy and last longer, allowing you to see long-term cost savings on your bills.

We also offer a wireless security alarm package, providing the perfect security system for homeowners.

And for the finishing touches, our electrical outlets are available in different finishes including white, chrome and stainless steel.

Garden and exterior

Our options and extras aren’t limited to the inside of your house either, as we also have a range of upgrades to choose from for your garden and other areas outside your house.

Want an LED floodlight in your front or back garden, or an external tap for any future gardening/car washing? We can sort that out.

We can also enhance your garden further by adding an extra area of paving, perfect for setting up a dining area or any other outdoor activities, all the while providing a level and textured area.
