Tell us a little bit about yourselves: 

George and I have been together since August 2019, we got married in April 2022 and recently had a baby boy called Finley. We also have a loveable cockapoo called Simba. We both love our jobs and spend our free time keeping busy settling into our new home. Before we bought our new Avant home, we lived together in a house owned by George, but we wanted to move into a house that was owned by the both of us. 

Which house type did you choose and why did you choose it?

We chose the 3 bedroom Greystone, the only one on the development which we loved as it was unique to the rest. We loved the fact that it had so much space and storage. It has the open plan feel but the rooms are separate. 

Why did you choose Avant homes?

Avant really stood out to us! We chose them because we hadn't heard anything bad about them, alongside the houses being amazing value . The whole buying process was fantastic and the after sales team were great. 

Why did you choose to buy a new build property over a second-hand home?

Knowing that the house is brand new just for you and that no one else has lived in it, and having the 10 year warranty is great for piece of mind. 

Did you make use of any of our schemes?

Yes, we used the Part Exchange scheme. The process was so easy and smooth. From the valuations to the offer, right through to the end of handing the house over and getting the keys to our new home, everything was explained in detail at each step of the process.

What do you love about your Avant Home?

We love the open plan downstairs, but how the rooms can be separate if needed. It looks so smart, and the storage spaces are fantastic. The exterior of our home has a clean, smart finish and the garden is very generous. To put our own stamp on our home we added a few optional extras including an outdoor light and tap, plus carpets throughout to make move in day so much easier!

How has your life changed since you moved into your Avant Home?

Having so much more storage space has really benefitted us, as a family we are happy in this home. We also love being part of a community, the development grows regularly with new neighbours moving in and homes being built. It’s a lovely, quiet estate!
