Chesterfield boasts excellent transport links with direct trains to Sheffield, Leeds and London as well as frequent bus services throughout the county. 

You can be in Chesterfield within 10 minutes off the M1 from junctions 29 and 29A.

If you want to travel abroad, Manchester Airport, East Midlands Airport and Doncaster Sheffield Airport can be reached in less than an hour. 

You can also easily reach Sheffield, Worksop, Nottingham, Derby and the Peak District by bus too. 

From London you can reach Chesterfield Rail Station in just 2 hours, or you can use the National Express and Megabus services which take roughly 3 hours and 45 minutes.

Holmebrook Valley Country Park: a large park with a lake where you can feed the swans, indulge in a picnic on one of the picnic tables, play football on the pitches, or cycle around the park via the cycle paths.
