Due to continued success and future business growth, we have an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant to join our team based at our West Midlands head office in Coleshill, Birmingham.

The Role

Are you an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified Accountant looking for a new challenge? Are you a recently qualified Accountant perhaps looking for your first role in industry?

Joining the team as our Management Accountant, you will be responsible for the production of the monthly management accounts for the West Midlands region.

To be successful as our Management Accountant, you must hold a formal Accounting qualification -eitherACA, ACCA or CIMA. Previous experience working within a house building or construction business is desirable yet not essential.

Key duties and requirements

You will also be responsible for but not limited to;

  • Production of monthly management accounts in accordance with the Group reporting timetable.
  • Production and submission of weekly cash forecasts.
  • Completion of audit packs and audit preparation.
  • Ensuring compliance with the Group Policies and Processes.
  • Production of tax packs.
  • Variance Analysis.
  • Production of Budgets and Forecasts.
  • Valuation reviews and involvement with the Operational Team.
  • Attending Board Meetings and Weekly Operations Meetings.
  • Trial Balance Review.
  • Supervision and mentoring of the Assistant Accountant.

Who are we looking for?

To be considered for this role you must also possess -

  • A recognised qualification however, this role would suit a recently qualified Accountant looking for their first role in industry.
