A pre-application meeting was attended at Harborough District Council on the 5th May 2017, which concluded that Harborough District Council were supportive of our proposals.

Based upon the above, a reserved matters application (RMA) was submitted on 30th June and the application was approved at the planning committee on 15th March 2018.

The outline planning permission is subject to 27 conditions and contains a number of pre-commencement and pre-occupation conditions. Site-specific conditions relate to the ecology and biodiversity within the site, and as part of the development, we have built and established a new otter pond, under the guidance of our local ecologists.

The Section 106 Agreement that accompanies the OPP contains financial contributions towards education, sustainable travel, highway improvements, police and open space which totals £2,670,641 and has been included within the appraisal together with £267,064.00 for indexation which covers the period required to make the various financial contributions stated within the agreement.

The provision of on-site Public Open Space (POS) is also a requirement and this is to include Children's Play Equipment.;
