Only a short distance away is Preston Park Museum and Grounds, a large Georgian house and former home of Robert Ropner, a local industrial magnate. The museum tells the story of Victorian life in the area and features a walled kitchen garden, nature reserve, Butterfly World and an adventure playground.
The North Yorkshire Moors National Park is right on the doorstep with plenty of tranquil walking routes and scenic views to enjoy just 20 minutes from the Tall Trees development. The popular tourist destinations of Osmotherley and Mount Grace Priory are just 15 minutes away and the coastal towns of Saltburn and Maske can be reached in around 35 minutes.
The town of Stockton-on Tees is only 10 minutes by car and hosts a popular weekly market. For big name high street shopping Teesside Park is only three miles away with free parking and retail stores such as Marks and Spencer, Next, Boots and H&M.
