South Normanton is located eight miles from the town of Mansfield and just off the M1, connecting the town with surrounding large towns and cities.
The town has an abundance of amenities at its disposal including a wide array of shops, bars and restaurants that can be found around Market Street and the town’s High Street.
Venturing just a mile out the town, there’s an array of big name high street retailers in the shape of the East Midlands Designer Outlet shopping centre, which has an extensive range of the best designer brands as well as several eateries.
There are several excellent schools found within the town, with Brigg Infant School, Glebe Junior School, Frederick Gent School and The Green Infant School.
Slightly further afield is the town of Mansfield, with all of its attractions. There are also several great golf courses such as Shireland Golf Club, and a heritage steam engine line, the Midland Railway. In addition to this, the beautiful Peak District National Park, which boasts local wildlife and scenic cycling and walking routes, is only 17 miles away
