Update - May 22, 2020
We’ve been working hard on the planning and implementation of new guidelines and procedures so that we can open our marketing suites and showhomes safely and at the right time.
We are pleased to let customers know that some of our marketing suites and showhomes in England will open this month.
All visitors must make an appointment to visit us and these can be pre-booked with our sales teams from today. Please book an appointment by finding your chosen development here and using the ‘request an appointment’ form or calling us directly.
Before you travel, please read our new safety guidelines to ensure you have an enjoyable and safe appointment. View our Before You Travel document here.
For your safety, all developments have received specialist cleaning prior to opening, with strict daily cleaning regimes in place. We have also introduced rigorous measures and safety guidelines for all visitors to ensure we can provide a safe environment for our customers and colleagues.
We are only able to allow a maximum of two visitors from the same household to attend a pre-booked appointment. We also ask that you do not bring any children with you to the development.
We will be open weekly from Thursday to Monday, 11am-5pm. Please ensure you call ahead to book your appointment. Any visitor arriving at site without an appointment cannot be seen.
If you are an existing customer with any questions and have already legally completed, please contact customer services here.
Thank you for helping us keep the workplace safe and we look forward to welcoming you back to our developments soon.

Reopening of marketing suites and showhomes
We welcome the UK government’s announcement this week to re-open the housing market to enable people to buy, sell and move home again.
Please be assured that we are currently undertaking plans to open marketing suites and show homes across our developments in England for a phased return to work.
We are simultaneously implementing rigorous Covid-19 social distancing and working practices within our marketing suites and showhomes. This will mean all visits will be by appointment only to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our colleagues, prospective buyers, residents, visitors and suppliers.
From Thursday, May 21 our sales teams will be available to start booking appointments for you to visit us. Until then our marketing suites remain closed.
Details of our opening hours are:
Sat 16th - Wed 20th – Closed

Update - May 11, 2020
Restarting construction at our developments
We have spent considerable time and effort over the last few weeks preparing to restart construction work at our developments and determining the safest and best way to do so.
We have worked hard to understand exactly what needs to be done and have developed rigorous new Covid-19 operational practices. As a result, we will begin to implement a phased return to work across some of our developments later this month.
Construction will only start again where we are satisfied that all the necessary measures are in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our colleagues, suppliers, residents and visitors.
We will not be opening all our developments. Those that do open will be the ones where we are able to carry out final works on homes close to completion. This will ensure that our customers who are willing and able to move in over the coming weeks can do so.
We will take a controlled, progressive approach to restarting construction in line with the UK government’s announcement on Sunday, 10 May.
Our marketing suites and showhomes will remain closed for now. However, our sales teams continue to work remotely and they are ready when you are to help with any enquiries you might have.
Contact details for each of our developments can be found here.
Update - April 8, 2020
Please be advised that all our developments remain closed and we have stopped all construction.
However, we are still here for you!
Our sales advisors are still available and working remotely during our new temporary opening hours of 10am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, to handle all your enquiries and to show you how to view our homes online.
Find our contact details for all developments here.
If you are an existing customer with any questions and have already legally completed, please contact customer services here. If you have not yet legally completed, please contact your sales advisor.
Whilst our developments are closed some matters may need to be attended to on site. However, please be assured that any work carried out will be limited to maintaining a safe environment on the development.
Update - March 27, 2020
We are stopping construction and closing all our sites as quickly and safely as possible. In the vast majority of cases, this will result in no further construction activity beyond this weekend
It is unlikely, but this may result in some final works needing completing on some developments. If so, these will be carried out as quickly as they can.
We have also implemented an inspection regime to ensure our site closures are undertaken properly. This will also make sure that, whilst our developments are closed, they remain in a safe condition.
During that period, some matters may need to be attended to on site. However, please be assured that any work carried out will be limited to maintaining a safe environment on the development.
If you have already legally completed on your home and have any questions, please contact your customer service team.
If you haven’t yet legally completed and have questions please contact your sales advisor who will be able to advise you.

A message from Colin Lewis, our CEO
This will not be one of those CEO notes, couched in company-speak, telling you things you already know, and addressing everyone in broad, generalist terms.
Instead, I want to convey to you as an individual what I and senior colleagues at Avant Homes are intending to do in the face of uncertainty over the next few weeks. I care very much about people as individuals and have been racking my brain over the last few days, as the country has been increasingly reacting to the threat of Coronavirus, to find an operational way forward for Avant and our customers to ensure that we can continue to deliver to you an Avant home.
We have already issued an advisory note to all staff, with sections relevant to our interaction with our customers. You may have seen evidence of this around our showhomes and sales offices. The advice very much follows and echoes that given by the government and its advisors.
I would, nonetheless, reiterate and emphasise the central message of that note which is to look after yourself, your loved ones, your colleagues and those you know who are more vulnerable to the impact of this new virus, be they family, friends or neighbours. If you believe you have symptoms, then please follow rigorously the advice which has been given, and, if relevant, let us know asap.
For our part, I want Avant Homes to be a sanctuary of common sense and common purpose. I want to continue to provide now, more than ever, the open and collegiate environment in which I believe, so that we all can feel reassured that, together, we can come through this trial successfully, and keep giving you and all of our customers the homes you and they want.
Protecting the wellbeing of our people, customers, prospective buyers, partners and the communities in which we build is our highest priority. We at Avant Homes will be continuing to work as normally as we can, for as long as we can – safely. In this regard, I want to reassure you that I intend to keep our offices and sites open for as long as we can, provided it is sensible to do so. I and those working for Avant will seek to work together to make the best out of these circumstances for all of us - employee, supplier and customer alike.
To ensure we, and you can proceed with confidence we have put a team in place dedicated to expertly managing the situation at each of our developments. They are focused on making sure we remain open and that our developments are complying with the latest government advice.
We are here to answer your questions and address any concerns you may have so if you want to talk to us, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with a member of our sales team.
I promise I will do my best to keep Avant Homes working so you can purchase or move into your new home as soon as is reasonably practicable.
My very best wishes
Chief Executive Officer

All construction will cease as of Sunday March 29. We have put in place an inspection regime to ensure that our sites are closed safely and properly, and further to ensure that, while closed, they remain in a safe condition over the coming weeks. If I have bought a home, will my moving date be affected?
We are still undertaking completions across our sites to ensure our buyers can move into their new homes and that we meet our contractual obligations to them.
