Office Administrator – Sunderland

As our Office Administrator, you will be providing administrative support to various departments to include Construction, Sales and Finance in support of day to day activities whilst ensuring that work is accurately, promptly and effectively carried out.

Key duties and requirements

  • Effectively communicating with staff and visitors
  • Assisting in the preparation of key reports using COIN’s in house system (training will be given)
  • Supporting the effective administration of departments
  • Maintaining departmental records, filing, data retrieval systems ensuring that information is stored and filed in line with departmental and data protection/security requirements.
  • Occasional reception cover during staff holidays and during busy periods
  • Working as part of the wider administration and support team helping other administrative staff as required to ensure the delivery of a fully effective administration function for the business.
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested.

Who are we looking for?

To be successful as our full time Office Administrator, you will possess extensive knowledge and application of Microsoft Office, including Word. We require the applicant to possess an advanced level of Excel knowledge, alongside good organisational and communication skills.

 You will be numerical and literate, with the ability to work under your own initiative and manage time effectively. Experience within a similar role is essential although there will also be an opportunity to gain further training within the role.

 In return for your hard work as our Office Administrator, you can expect to receive a competitive salary of £17,000 - £19,000 per annum plus benefits.
