Defects Project Manager – Norfolk

Are you an expert project manager with experience of delivering a first-class aftercare service? Do you have proven experience of working on site for a new homes residential developer or contractor?

This position is offered on a 6-month fixed term contract basis.

As this is a mobile role, a full UK driving licence is required.

Key duties and requirements

Joining our team as our Defects Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing three of our Norfolk developments. This project will involve identifying property defects and working alongside our subcontractor to ensure that these issues are rectified swiftly and to the highest standards possible. Your tasks will include:

  • Management of complex cases and/or customer escalations
  • Ensuring that effective quality control measures are implemented whilst ensuring customer satisfaction is delivered in alignment with policies and procedures
  • Assisting in monitoring response times by sub-contractors
  • Providing updates to the customer in the form of verbal and written communications throughout the process
  • Assisting in the provision of key status reports and updates on all KPIs relating to the project.

Who are we looking for?

To be successful as our Project Manager, you will hold previous experience of managing and overseeing projects for a new homes developer or contractor. Experience of Customer Liaison or Customer Service will also be essential.

To be considered for this role, you must posses:

  • Experience of snagging and identifying defects
  • A broad understanding of the implications of acceptable quality of build and commercial awareness
  • A good awareness of codes of practice that impact on Customer Service e.g. NHBC, PMA etc
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Good knowledge of the construction and technical processes
  • An excellent knowledge of customer service requirements
