The highly anticipated Purbeck Village development is Avant Homes’ first site in Warwickshire and is located at Myton Green, a new 96-acre residential development located off Europa Way in Warwick.
The 13.55-acre, £57.7m development is part of a wider scheme by Catesby Estates plc, which once compete will provide 735 homes along with six equipped play areas, a network of new footpaths and cycleways and around 20 acres of green open space.
Homes at Purbeck Village will feature a collection of Avant’s Original range of houses alongside its newly introduced Bridge range of homes, specifically designed to bridge the gap in the housing market creating aspirational and attainable homes.
Avant Homes Midlands managing director, Adrian Evans said: “We are very pleased to have secured our first site in Warwickshire in this excellent location. This development represents a significant investment for us and the first phase of infrastructure and groundworks are progressing well.
“Purbeck Village will offer a great deal for would-be purchasers, with our innovative mix of homes an excellent location and outstanding countryside close by, giving buyers an ideal blend of rural and urban living.”
In Penicuik groundworks have commenced to bring a £56m development of new homes to the town.
Avant Homes Scotland has been granted planning permission by Midlothian council to build 165 homes just off Mauricewood Road in the north of the town. The development, called Carnethy Heights, also forms part of a wider scheme which will see a total of 544 new homes built in a joint development programme with CALA Homes.
Avant Homes will deliver a mix of three, four and five-bedroom semi-detached and detached properties, all including the housebuilder’s superior interior specification. Initial infrastructure and groundworks are progressing well, and the first homes are expected to be ready for occupation in July 2019.
Avant Homes Scotland managing director, David Knight, said: “Penicuik is a prime area for development and benefits from a great location, only 9 miles from Edinburgh. We are very pleased to have received planning for this site, which will enable us to further build our presence in Midlothian and bring more of our innovative, design-led new homes to aspirational buyers.”
Both developments represent significant investment by the Avant Homes group and form part of a strategic growth plan by the housebuilder to double output to 4,000 homes a year and become a £1bn turnover business by 2023.
