The annual Housebuilder Awards celebrate the success of housebuilders across the UK, for a range of exceptional initiatives, projects, products and schemes.

Avant Homes received the commendation for its ten-year masterplan project to redevelop the site, which is one of West Yorkshire’s most iconic Victorian buildings and is reaching its final stage of construction.

Commenting on the commendation, Avant Homes Yorkshire managing director Rob Slocombe, said: “We are extremely proud to have been recognised at the Housebuilder Awards for the redevelopment of Chevin Park.

“This is a most unique conversion project. Our team have worked extremely hard to ensure the restoration of each building is carried out to the highest of standards, breathing new life into this hugely impressive site and providing a wonderful place to call home.”

Chevin Park is a multi-award-winning development that sits across 200-acres of park and woodland. The site dates back to 1888 and was acquired by Avant Homes in 2006. Now almost fully restored, Chevin Park offers a development of homes that is unrivalled in the region, combining original Victorian Splendour with innovative, contemporary design.
