Based on data from surveys conducted by Best Companies and its partners, the awards celebrate an organisation’s workplace engagement with their employees.
Using academically rigorous methodology that gets to the heart of what people want and expect from their working lives, Best Companies’ unique system looks for patterns, connections and correlations between employee responses that goes beyond just identifying how employees feel, but also uncovers why they feel that way.
Avant Homes North East, which is based in Sunderland, was given a strong 1 star accreditation from Best Companies, which is a significant achievement that shows the organisation is taking workplace engagement seriously and ranks them at number 20 in the top 30 places to work in the region.
Avant Homes North East managing director, Scott Varley, said: “People are at the heart of any good business, so it’s vitally important to us that we engage with our employees to find out the things that make and keep them happy.
“This accreditation from Best Companies sends a powerful message that our people feel valued and motivated, and a real part of the Avant success story.”
Avant Homes is currently building 18 developments in the North East, with a focus on delivering design-led homes that exceed requirements for a variety of buyers across the North East, injecting millions and creating hundreds of new jobs for the local economy.
Plans for new developments in Newcastle, Gateshead and County Durham are in place this year, adding further jobs, investment and over 500 homes across the region. This is in addition to its current portfolio of developments, which will deliver over 496 high quality homes throughout the North East.
Avant Homes is planning to do this largely via its innovative Bridge Range of homes, designed to create aspirational and attainable homes offering greater choice to buyers.
These new home designs sit alongside the homebuilder’s Original range to offer a broad collection of properties in different sizes, designs and prices.
